Hallettsville Playday Association was founded in 2015 to provide equine and rodeo events to the youth of Lavaca County and surrounding areas.  The association exists to act in the best interest of the youth by providing fair and equal opportunity to compete and train in equine events.  Hallettsville Playday Association honors the founders of what is now known as the National High School Rodeo Association, founded in Hallettsville, Texas, by sharing their passion for rodeo, youth, and in keeping western heritage alive.  Hard work, dedication, motivation, commitment, and unselfish teamwork are the values with which Hallettsville Playday Association will operate.

In addition to providing safe and family friendly events for our members, HPA strives to give back to our community.  HPA awards scholarships to our graduating senior members.  The association also supports organizations and individuals in need in our community through charitable donations.
