It's All About the Kids!
HOW TO ENTER
If you competed in September, you already have membership and Rodeo Results account...go to the Rodeo Results app, click on Rodes, Upcoming, find your HPA event and enter. If this is your first event proceed with directions below.

Complete the form below
We require all competitors to be members.
There is a one-time $20 membership fee to join.
When you submit the membership you will:

Read and digitally sign a Release of Liability

Upload a photo of the competitor's birth certificate. This ensures they are competing in the correct age group. We age our competitors as of July 1, 2025.

Upload a current Coggins test for all horses that will be on the premises.
It is your responsibility to read the rules for our organization and events which can be found on the Playday Event Info tab.

Create your Account

Each contestant will need an email address to create their own account. If you are using a parent's email, make sure the contestant's name is on the profile (not the parent's name-this is the name on the entry). If they do not have an email, create a dummy email like FirstnameLastname@rodeoresults.com. It can be updated later if needed.

You will need to add a horse to the roster. Rodeo Results track performance by competitor and by horse. HPA doesn't require a horse to be specified, but the app requires it for entry so it can track performance. Also, the horse's name cannot be a duplicate of a name in the Rodeo Results registry, or it will not let you add the horse. If you are using your horse's "barn name" instead of a registered name you may run into a "duplicate horse" error and need to be creative with your horse's name (for instance, instead of Joe, call him Amy's Joe"). If you are entering an event without a horse, make something up!
Enter the Event

Select the "Rodeo" tab

Click on Upcoming at the bottom of the screen and find the HPA event.

Check the events you want to enter SELECT THE APPROPRIATE AGE GROUP AS OF JULY 1, 2025.

Click PAY to submit payment
Pre-Entry is REQUIRED!
No entries will be accepted the day of the event. The deadline to pre-enter will be the Wednesday before the playday by 11pm. The books will be closed at this time. The run order will be posted Friday evening after 5pm. Any contestants contacting HPA to enter after the books have closed and before the run order has been posted will be charged a $50 late fee per contestant. Late fees are earmarked to fund our Scholarships.. No late entries will be accepted after the run order has posted on Friday.
